You get what you pay forDec 01, 2009

Alright, this was my first tripod for my Nikon D5000 so I'm not a expert on tripods.. You can't tell from the pictures but the Zeikos ZE-TR67A has lots of plastic parts. I've got nothing against plastic, it's just that I thought the tripod would have been better quailty build. If your looking for a cheap tripod that's better than the one you picked up at Walmart, than this is it. It's much better than the first one I purchased from Walmart, however I would assume that the industry makes better tripods than this one..
P.S. If you own a DSLR camera that cost more than $600, this isn't your stand.

Good productMay 27, 2010
By Jaime L. Blasini Merlo Excellent for beginners. Ligthweight, sturdy, easy to use. Good for the price. I used for my Digital camera (Canon S3 IS) and camcorder (JVC HD Everio GZHD500). Comfortable for my stature (5'11"). Extends 67" and folds to 26.2". Weight 2.79 lbs. Deluxe case included.

By Erica Gerlander As promised this tripod is light-weight, sturdy. and easy-to-use. Love the height possibilities. One problem, and it may be my inexperience with tripods as a novice photographer, is that the plate does not lock the camera in as tightly as I hoped. I have a lightweight Fuji S 5000 point-and-shoot, and, at times, there's just a bit of wiggle when I press the shutter button. Overall, for the price, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Decent.May 26, 2011
By Justin A. Pierce With photography, you get what you pay for.. This is no exception. While it is very light and easy to use, it has quite a lot of wobble. If you're just looking for a quick stabalization for little money out of pocket, then this is for you. If you are serious and holding your camera still then I suggest you get something else. Also, the construction is very cheap, I feel like the plastic parts my snap at any point and if you get rough at all with the aluminum you may bend it easily. All in all, not the worst I've ever had but I didn't really expect much for this price.
