I've been using this lens for three weeks now shooting marching band competitions, both day and night. Daytime shooting with the lens is great... Good sharp images with no blurring. Shooting under the stadium lights is a little tougher. On full zoom motion becomes a problem, but zoomed out the shots are still very clear.
The lens was a little stiff at first, but has loosened up with use. I do find that in certain situations (very busy shots) the focus drifts from target to target, and occassionally the camera can't lock on.
I use the lens with a D60 and can't hesitate to recommend it to anyone for casual use.

I am very happy to have purchased this item, the lens I have used once the pictures came out really good on my nikon d5000 which is my first slr recently purchased. Showed the pictures to my semi pro friend he was happy with the picture quality as well
