A nostalgic flash for a compact cameraAug 31, 2008
By DYYL The EF-140 is a good to have add on to the Sigma DP1 camera, which is the only TTL compatible flash for it. Flash power is well controlled without need to tweak DP1 setting. A good slim build flash accessories to increase the flash power without too much weight. The downside is the plastic material build is kind of weak build.

Made for the Dp-1Dec 14, 2008
By Jack H. Kunnen This flash is not the most powerful, won't bounce off the celing, but it works excellent on the the Dp-1. It stands tall to keep the light somewhat off axis helping the pictures to look a bit better with direct flash. It works very good as fill flash balanced with the ambient. Being small keeps the idea of the Dp-1 being a compact camera

nice add on for an extra boost.Jan 14, 2009
By P. Carney first of all, the DP1 is an awesome camera that has extremely flexible RAW files. That being, there are rarely times when I need a flash. With this little flash, I can manually compensate for fill in bad conditions. I'd love to see a bounce option... why i gave it 4 stars, but it's compactness makes up for what it lacks... that's kind of the point of the camera/flash anyway right? The build quality is no where near as awesome as the camera body, but is still well built for a flash and has a super clean stylish look.

Remember to turn off the power before mount/dismountDec 02, 2010
By L. Yao The product itself performs satisfactory, however, mine works for only a few times until when I dismounted it without turning the power off first. The unit then stopped working since.
The warrenty repair needs both the receit and the warrenty card which I misplaced so please save your card in case you need it.
