Fried my CamcorderJan 10, 2009
By LA Feaz My camera was working fine just prior to battery installation. Just afterwards the image in viewfinder and on screen is garbage; I can record but it is unrecognizable. Play is fine. I spoke to video repair shop & they believe the electronics in the power supply section of the board are shot, they have seen this before. Estimated repaire cost $189. It could be coincident timing, but I have taken great care with this camera, it has never been dropped, and has only been used for about 30 hours total. A head cleaning did not improve performance.
