I bought 2 of these and they worked fine in my DSC-V1. I used them on my recent vacation, took lots of pictures and had no problems.

This battery does not fit in the camera and is larger than the fc10 I was hoping to replace.

These 'Maximal Power' type NP-FC 10/11 replacement batteries are of a relatively low ampere hour rating, in the neighborhood of <700 ma-h. and may give serviceable performance in certain devices for a limited amount of time. Be sure to check the power requirements of your device before purchasing.
They will NOT stand very many re-charges before they become useless. The unit(s) I received operated for ten recycles before the battery was totally inoperable.
The second complaint is that the batteries were not a very good mechanical fit and had to be 'coached' in to my Sony Camera for which they were purchased. I will not buy them again and will look else where.
