Get twoJan 05, 2009

No complaints so far about how this fits in my camera or charger, and I'm using it with a Kodak Z1012IS EasyShare. I wish the shot life was a little longer, but it seems to be on par with other rechargables in this camera. I'm currently getting around 80 shots/charge. That is somewhat less than I thought since I don't use much flash. However, I do often have to re-power the camera (grrr, Kodak) during a shooting session because it is too long between shots with three small kids. So I don't think the shot life is too bad, overall. I do wish I had gotten two of them because it does drop out at the worst possible time every time. Honestly, that could be managed by planning charges better or (as I do) by keeping the manufacturer's non-rechargable as a backup.

Excellent performance and valueJan 21, 2009
By C. Torres I purchased two of these batteries paired with the Maximal Power travel charger. Excellent value and quality. The first charge takes about 3 hours, but charges in 1 hour after that. I have charged both batteries at least 5 times already with the volume of pictures I have taken. They have not gained a "memory" as Li-ion batteries are not supposed to. 1 battery lasts me several days of frequent use. I was not certain if these batteries were rechargeable at first, so before buying them with the charger I called the Maximal Power company to ask them. Not all Li-Ion batteries are rechargeable and at the time it was not specified on the product description on Amazon. Right away I got someone on the phone who was very friendly at Maximal Power company and they confirmed that all Li-Ion batteries they manufacture are rechargeable. He looked up the specs on this one in particular and even admitted I was getting an excellent value on Amazon.com compared to their MSRP. He also invited me to call him back if I ever have any problems past Amazons return policy or any questions and he would take care of it. I feel Maximal Power is far from generic, but in fact a great manufacturer of batteries. I will be ordering more products from them through Amazon.com!
You Get What You Pay ForJan 23, 2010

2 out of 5: "You get what you pay for. I got these for a Z1012 IS they are too snug. You have to pry them out when you change them. Difficult because there is nothing to grab on to. The edge of a butter knife works. Not like original equipment, that's for sure"

This battery is more cost effective and seems equal to original kodak battery for proformance.

Compared to a battery I previously purchased (did not work), this is a good item. It would be a great item, if the battery held the charge longer.
