5As described when purchased in Sept. 2011Sep 15, 2011
By Alan C. in Rochester, NY
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1G380ZAAZ0HU1 Basically with the video on my iPhone 3GS I captured the box it came in, the tripod itself, and a tape measure showing that it is in fact 16 inches when fully expanded.
I am only reviewing this because there were several comments stating that they got a much smaller, off-brand tripod. For $~15 after shipping I was willing to risk it. Basically what you should get from this was that when I ordered one on September 12, 2011 I did receive a Kodak branded item.

5Big Help with Better PhotosDec 29, 2010
By Virginia Allain "(retired librarian)"
I take photos, lots of them, of mushrooms, feathers, moss, and wildflowers. Even though I think I have a pretty steady hand, when I bring my macro photos up on the computer and enlarge them, some photos have to be discarded. They aren't crisp and sharp.
All the photo guidebooks recommend using a tripod to improve your photos. I didn't want to be loaded down with lots of camera gear while walking in the woods. When I discovered this mini tripod, I grabbed it up. Just the thing I needed. It's compact enough to fit in the pocket of my shorts and my Canon Powershot goes into the other pocket with some back up batteries.
Right away, I could see an improvement in my close ups. When I think of all the wasted shots, I sure wish I'd found this years ago. It's easy to screw onto the camera. A very useful tool for photographers out in the field.

5Great Tripod, Lasted me 6+ YearsDec 13, 2011
By Straight_Shooter
I purchased mine back in 2005, and it is both solidly build, and sturdy. Having a small tripod is so important for getting good angles in tight spaces, or taking pictures/recording friends/yourself at events, parties, vlogs, ect.

All the 1 star reviews are because they do not understand how this tripod works! It's simple really. You pull on the black rubber end caps. This will allow the unit to telescope out TWO legs that are hidden inside the folded up tripod. Give this thing a change, you will not be disappointed.

1Cheap flimsy rubbishOct 17, 2011
By Mike D
Do not waste your money on this object. It is a flimsy lightweight piece of rubbish. The legs are not symmetrical, they extend only to 6", and when extended won't support the weight of even a regular digital camera (mine is a Canon Powershot). The only reason I'm giving one star, is that the system won't accept zero stars.

1Obtienes lo que pagas!Sep 14, 2011

Muy sencilla y plasticuda. Pense que estaba mejor, pero que puedes esperar por ese precio.
Comprare uno mejor despues, vale la pena invertir un poco mas en un tripie mas chido.
