Great Quality ScopeJul 13, 2011

Bought the spotting scope to observe marine life from a Pacific Coast beach house. From over 250 yards away on a 125 foot bluff, this scope provide a clear sharp images of dolphins, seals, and sea otthers as though they were only several yards away (under max 60x mag). (Though it needs to be on a tripod and at high magnification, the field of view makes it a bit difficult track the object when it's swimming at a fast clip.) The construction of the scope is quite solid as you would expect for it's cost. The only complaint I have is I noticed the rubber coating below the focusing knob is starting to split. It's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. But since the scope has a lifetime limited warranty, I'm not too concerned, if it becomes an issue, I'll have it repaired.
