 Great for cheap batteries.Aug 30, 2009

I wasn't sure what to expect, but since these batteries were a fraction of the cost of Panasonic name-brand batteries, I thought I would give it a try. Turns out they perform just as well as the original batteries. Haven't had them long enough to judge longevity, but they work well in the camera for me.

Iam was looking to a backup battery for my Panasonic FZ30 and I found this product, I get it and of course you get 100% compatibility con Panasonic. Estaba buscando un bateria de respaldo para mi Panasonic FZ30, encontre este producto y realmente 100% compatible con my Panasonic y mejor aun dos baterias por un buen y excelente precio, resuelve mi necesidad, el cargador original de la Panasonic funciona excelente con estas baterias, el tiempo en uso es tambien sorprendente. Ellos proveen un excelente tiempo de envio, recomiendo este producto, no les fallara y tendran su bateria de respaldo por cualquier emergencia. No hay razon para no tomar demasiadas fotos.

I thought I'd take a chance on these even though I really only wanted one spare. They have a higher capacity than the Lenmar and you get two for a few dollars more so why not? I've only opened one so far and it performs just as good if not better than the Panasonic original. It does fit a little looser than the original in the charger but it's not an issue. I read many reviews of several batteries before I chose these and I ordered the pair with the prefix "CGR" instead of "CGA". However when I received the order, they were CGA. I was concerned that the CGA type would not fit in the charger as tightly since I read that in the reviews but I'm not sure that it makes any difference. Also they're a different brand and have a lower capacity than the ones I ordered. These are made by "Power 2000" and are 1000mAh instead of 1300mAh like the add showed. The Panasonic included with the camera is 695mAh. Other than not getting exactly what I ordered they seem perfectly fine. They last longer than the original and only time will tell how they hold up as far as how many charge/discharge cycles they can handle. I'm glad I bought them.

I ordered two of these batteries. The price was great. Unfortunately, when I received them, one battery would not hold the initial charge. The other battery has performed well. The battery charger for my camera emits a green light when the battery is fully charged, which does not go out until the battery is fully charged; however, the light in the defective battery went out right away. Thinking the electrical outlet might be the problem, I switched outlets; same result.
When I e-mailed Amazon with my concerns, I got an almost immediate message from the vendor telling me they were sorry for the inconvenience and that a replacement for the defective battery would be mailed the next business day. It arrived soon after and it works great. Both batteries are functionally the same as the OEM batteries, though their appearance is a little different.
Some other reviews have commented about the battery fitting a little more snugly inside the camera than the OEM, but I didn't notice any difference between these batteries and the original Panasonic battery.
The important question is: would I order these again, considering the initial problem I had in receiving one defective battery? Absolutely! The fact that the replacement was sent out promptly, and it works perfectly, has earned my respect and my future business.

The batteries work just fine in my Panasonic DMC-FZ35. The batteries (I bought 2) charge up to 100% and the battery life is about the same or longer than the original battery. All is well, and the price is great! What more can you ask?
